Become 1 of 1,500 ‘Ansars of Salam’ to Keep the Heart of Islam Alive in Canada

Without Your Immediate Support, 1,300 people in Brampton will be left without a place to pray, belong and thrive

“This Masjid Didn’t Just Teach Us Islam—It Gave Us a Family."

“I remember stepping into MPIC for the first time. I felt at home instantly. My children enrolled in Quran classes, my wife joined the sisters’ circles, and I found a brotherhood that embraced me. This masjid didn’t just teach us Islam—it gave us a family.”

—Brother Ahmed

Alhamdulillah, in just four years of operation, Masjid Al-Salam has already:

A brother takes syahadah at Masjid Al Salam, 4 April 2025.

Brampton is home to over 80,000 Muslims—yet there are only around 10 mosques.

At an average of 8,000 people per mosque, many are already stretched beyond their capacity.

Alhumdulillah, we have already expanded our masjid, increasing our capacity from 700 to 1,300, to serve even more worshipers.

However, sustaining this growth and providing the necessary services to our larger community requires ongoing support. Our goal is to raise $50,000 for daily operational expenses to keep our doors open and continue serving our growing community.

To keep the momentum going without delays, we must raise the first $15,000 by the end of the year. If we miss this critical milestone, we risk a setback, and hundreds of brothers, sisters, and children will be left without a spiritual home.

Will You Let 1,300 Worshipers Be Turned Away?

Imagine standing at the gates of Masjid Al-Salam on the Day of Judgment, knowing you had the chance to sustain Allah’s House… but chose to look away.

Would you want to be responsible for 600 people being left without a place to pray, belong, and grow in their faith?

Would the Ansar of Madinah—the ones who welcomed the Prophet ﷺ and the early Muslims—have turned anyone away?

And today, as one of the Ansars of Salam, you have the same opportunity to ensure our doors remain open to continue to embrace your brothers, sisters, and children in faith.

The need is urgent. The reward is eternal.

100% Community Funded. 100% Your Reward.

Masjid Al-Salam receives no government funding. Every prayer, every shahadah, every Quran class, every Iftar meal—it’s all sustained entirely by the generosity of believers like you.

A Weekly Gift That Keeps the Masjid’s Doors

Every Friday, while you prepare for Jumu’ah, your charity will already be on its way — quietly sustaining Masjid Al-Salam, a place that gives 1,300 worshippers in Brampton a home to pray, learn, and grow in faith.

It’s consistent, automated, and sincere — a way to invest in your Akhirah while managing the duties of your duniya.

Remember,

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Charity on Friday is greater than charity on any other day.”

Here’s How It Works:

About Masjid Al Salam

Welcome to Masjid Al Salam, also known as Mount Pleasant Islamic Centre, situated by the Go Station near Mount Pleasant in Northern Brampton. It was once a church and has now been converted into a Masjid.

In the last 4 years, we’ve gone into large expansion to add more capacity for the brothers and sisters.

We offer 4 Jumaa prayers and many other programs like Quraan Hifz classes to help students memorise the Quraan from front to back. And there’ve been a handful of Huffaz who graduated from Masjid Al Salam during those 4 years.

Also, during Ramadan, Masjid Al Salam is proud to offer full Iftars from day one all the way till the end of Ramadan. In some cases, feeding over 700 people per day. On average, we’re able to provide meals for over 300 Muslim worshipers in and around the Brampton area.
